How Double VPN Two-Hop Routing Works
Educational
Double VPN sends a user's traffic through two VPN hops rather than one. The first hop is the entry point that receives the user's connection; the second hop is the exit point that connects to the destination website.
Why independence matters
Two different ports on one host do not create two independent network boundaries. A meaningful two-hop design needs distinct, independently operated or isolated hops and verification of the entire chain.
Readiness is not a live session
A list of prepared hop pairs proves only that a route may be available. It does not prove a particular browser request traversed both hops. DI VPN's Double VPN check separates route-pair readiness from the current verified session state.
