Terms of Service

These terms describe what DI VPN does, what it asks of you, and what happens if either side of the agreement stops. Read them before you create an account.

1. Agreement

By creating an account, installing the extension or using the apps, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live. If you use DI VPN for an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation to these terms.

2. What DI VPN is

DI VPN routes your browser traffic through a node we operate, over an encrypted connection, and offers tools that block ads, trackers and fingerprinting attempts along the way.

The service is provided as is. It is a tool for privacy and security, not a guarantee of either, and not a source of professional advice.

3. What we do not promise

  • That a site will let you through, or that a service will accept your traffic.
  • That the tunnel is unbreakable, or that an adversary can never learn something.
  • Unlimited speed, uptime or anonymity of any particular node.
  • That every country, site or service is reachable from every node.

Use the service lawfully and at your own risk. You are responsible for what you do through it.

4. Accounts

  • One account per person, unless a plan says otherwise.
  • Keep your password to yourself; tell us at once if you think someone else has it.
  • You may sign in with an email address and password, or with Google.
  • Free accounts may be limited in how many scans or connections they may use in a day.

We may suspend an account that is compromised, being abused, or being used to break the law or these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

5. Plans, trial and payment

  • Plans are billed in advance: monthly or yearly, at the price shown on the site.
  • A new account may include a free trial. The trial is a real Pro plan for the stated number of days and ends by itself; you do not need to remember to cancel it.
  • Payment is handled by our payment provider. Card details never reach us.
  • A plan runs until the end of the period you paid for, then does not renew unless you renew it. We will not quietly renew a yearly plan without telling you.
  • Changing a plan takes effect from the next renewal, unless we say otherwise at the time.

Prices can change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

6. Refunds

DI VPN provides an eligible free trial, with advance reminders before it ends through the enabled notification channels. When the trial expires, your account returns to the Free plan. We do not automatically charge you, convert the trial into a paid plan or require you to reply to a reminder to avoid a payment. You may choose a paid plan later and complete the purchase yourself.

Completed and correctly processed purchases are generally final and refunds are not routinely provided. Unused time, a change of mind, non-use of a plan or failure to read a reminder does not by itself qualify for a refund, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

If you believe a payment was duplicated, incorrect or unauthorised, or a confirmed purchase was not supplied due to a problem on our side, contact support@divpn.com for review. We will generally seek to resolve a service issue first and may offer restoration, an extension or credit where appropriate. A refund is considered where required by applicable law or where the circumstances require a payment reversal.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable statutory cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights in your country.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use DI VPN to:

  • break the law, or the rights of anyone else;
  • attack, scan, flood or probe our network or anyone else's without permission;
  • send spam, malware, or content that is illegal or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • resell, redistribute or share node access, or publish our node list as a service;
  • automate sign-ups, or try nodes in a way that degrades them for other users;
  • circumvent the device limit or the free-plan limits.

We enforce this with node limits, connection limits and, where necessary, by closing an account.

8. Our no-logs commitment

We do not record the sites you visit, the pages you open, the searches you run, or the DNS names your device asks about. Traffic passes through our nodes encrypted and we hold no keys that could read it.

We do keep the connection metadata a service needs to work: which node you used, the time, the duration and the number of bytes moved. That is what appears in your session history. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The DI VPN name, logo, applications, extension and site belong to us. You may use the service and install the extension; you may not resell it, rebrand it, or take apart the software to build a competing product from it.

10. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or retire part of the service — a node, a tool, a plan — as the network or the law requires. Where a change removes something you paid for, we will offer a replacement or a credit.

The software may update itself. Keeping the extension current is part of a working service, and versions that are out of date may stop connecting.

11. Ending the agreement

You may request closure of your DI VPN account at any time by emailing support@divpn.com from the email address registered to the account, with the subject DI VPN account deletion. Do not send your password or one-time codes. We will verify the request and delete or anonymise personal data as described in the Privacy Policy's account-deletion section, subject to legally required retention. Any unused time on a paid plan is handled under the refunds section above.

We may end the agreement on notice where you break these terms, or immediately where the law requires it.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, DI VPN is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for anything that happens because the service was unavailable or your use of it broke a law or a third party's terms.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your right to a refund for something we failed to deliver.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on this page with a new date, and to account holders by email or in the extension. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where we operate. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. Before going to court, write to us — most problems are solved in a message.
