About DI VPN

DI VPN — Digital Identity — is a small, independent product team building one thing well: a private way to use the internet. An Android app, a Chrome extension and the gateway behind both, made and operated by the same people.

1. What we build

DI VPN for Android is a full-device VPN client. Every connection is a real tunnel to a node in the country you picked, with a kill switch so traffic never falls back to your normal connection when the tunnel drops.

DI VPN for Chrome protects the browser alone, which is where most of a working day happens: one click puts every tab behind a proxy, blocks the requests that follow you from site to site, and warns when a site you use has appeared in a public breach.

The gateway is the part nobody sees. It issues a short-lived session per device, routes it through an exit we control, verifies the exit address and country we reported, and refuses to connect at all when that check fails — instead of quietly sending you out unprotected.

2. What we do not do

We do not keep a record of the sites you visit, the pages you open, the searches you run or the DNS names your browser asks about. The tunnel carries encrypted traffic and we do not hold the keys to read it.

We do not sell data, and our free plan is not paid for by advertising inside the tunnel. The service is funded by the plans on the pricing page; the free plan exists so you can judge the product before you pay for it.

3. How we work

Locations are measured, not promised: every node is checked on a schedule and a location that stops answering is taken out of the list instead of being left there looking available.

The same rule applies to prices and to this site. One plan table feeds the home page, the pricing page and the checkout, so the number you see is the number you are charged, and a plan runs for the period you paid for rather than renewing behind your back.
